As an overseas owner of a property in Gatlinburg, I need someone who I can trust to take care of things in and around the place. Since I am over three thousand miles away, it is difficult for me to oversee any work that needs doing. Any items of furniture that need replacing have to be chosen, bought, transported/collected, inspected/signed for and installed. The importance of this might be something that a potential out of state owner may overlook when the initial purchase of a property is made. I know I certainly didn’t realise the levels of problems caused by even small necessary repairs until it was almost too late. Then along came Sylvie. I am now able to sleep at night knowing that things ”over the pond“ are ok. Sylvie is making good progress with some repairs on my house. Sylvie is an honest, hard working professional who has looked out for my best interest AND that of the cabin. Since I live in Miami, we communicated via phone, e-mail and fax, sending countless pictures of furniture, designs and colors until we were both satisfied with the choices. For someone like me who does not know much about interior designing and color matches very well, it definitely was worth the hire.

Smoky Mountain Vista 

This is a letter of reference in regards to the excellent job of decorating that A-Plus Interiors has done in decorating a forty-two hundred square foot, five bedroom, four and a half bath chalet that we bought in 2007. 

Living out of state, approximately seven hundred and fifty miles away from Gatlinburg, it was not possible to be there, after the place was purchased, to go and pick out all of the furniture and be there when it was delivered; arranging it attractively and then selecting and hanging pictures and curtains, etc. This was all completed by Sylvie after all of the rooms had been painted and the old carpet thoroughly cleaned and freshened by Sylvie in order to get a clean start to decorating this vacation home for our family’s use and for a vacation rental use as well.

Sylvie has excellent ideas and good taste for decorating in the mountain chalet/cabin motif. All I had to do was go over with her what kind of look I wanted to have in the chalet and she went with the ideas from there and made it happen. She would let me know what was going on during the entire process and even e-mailed pictures of the progress as it evolved. She is a dependable, hard-working person who can be trusted to get the job done without the owner having to be present during the process. That is a valuable characteristic to have so that the owner can have peace of mind that a good job is being done without having to be present or even nearby.

I recommend A-Plus Interiors for all decorating jobs whether one room or a whole home, chalet or cabin. A-Plus Interiors can accomplish a wonderfully attractive result with minimum stress and concern to the customer, even from far away.
